Avoid West Boylston Cinema. Avoid West Boylston Cinema unless you want an expensive evening out. My wife and I went out the other night and braved the pouring rain. I thought it was a cheap date ;-) by I was wrong. Don't make the mistake I did.

While you can save money on the movie tickets, the West Boylston police are on a rampage ticketing cars in the lot. YES! They are ticketing cars in a private parking lot. The movie cost me $10 for my wife and I. The parking cost us $35. The police claim my SUV was parked on a yellow line. I got tagged for double parking which is $35.00. There is not right of appeal on the ticket or town web site.

I called the theater manager and he told me there was a lot of that going on. People were always getting tickets in that lot. I asked him what they would do about it. He told me it was my problem. When I told my friends, they said it happened to their daughter too.

West Boylston wins! They got my $35. If you don't pay you can't register your car or renew you license. The businesses lose. I will never patronize a West Boylston business again. When the police can randomly tag cars in private parking lots, you know you need to avoid the town and its businesses.
