Great Food. I have been to Scales many times and have never had a bad meal or bad service. The family like atmosphere is wonderful. We have always recieved more for our money and nothing but the best in QUALITY both food and ice cream.

Waterside seafood at inland prices. It is hard to find the first time. It is in an old mill building, a block off the main road. They have some of the best fried clams anywhere. They are open year around, but close a few days a week in winter so call ahead. They use the wonderful, creamy Hood softserv mix, so save room for ice cream after your meal. This is a place where you order and pay at the counter, and then the food is brought to your table. No credit cards.
