AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
The food here is good but it comes with a price---horrible service. First, they may or may not acknowledge you when you walk in. They show no urgency to seat you, get you something to drink, or take your order---even when it's not that crowded. And you can forget about follow-up service after you get your food. I've been here a few times and it's consistently horrible. But I will never go back again. I just can't give money to people who don't deserve it anymore. Go elsewhere for Indian food in Worcester (Bollywood Grill or the Indian restaurant on Rt. 9 across the street) and save yourself the aggravation.

Very tasty food!.
I went with some friends for lunch. I ordered mixed vegetables luncheon item ($7.95). This was the best mixed veg. curry I have had since I arrived in USA thirty years ago. However the quantity of rice that came with it was very disappointing- just a fistful in a tiny plate. And, I had to share this with my friend! I will definitely go there again. I hope they will serve more rice, in separate plates for each person. I would have given them 5 stars if they had served sufficient food.
For almost the same price you can fill your stomach at Udupi in Shrewsbury and the food is good.

The Absolute Best!.
This was the very first Indian restaurant that I had ever been to. Upon entry, I was very impressed with the deep red colors and beautiful artworks surrounding me. When I took a breath, the smell made my stomach growl with hunger. After ordering with the most careful server, I was immediately blown away with the rich, flavor-packed dishes that melted in my mouth. I was hooked on Indian food. After that experience, I decided to try my luck with other Indian restaurants. Nothing has compared as of yet. If you like Indian food, GO HERE! You will not regret it.
