Don't Trust the Owners, Insane Rent, Super Sleazy. While this may be a good place to shop, it's not a good place to put your business and worse than that, if you fall behind in rent, and can't pay it, the owners actually unlawfully take your things, and hold them or sell them. This is against the law.

I had to sue them in Clinton District Court in order to get paid back for my damaged items, (they were infested with mice feces) and the owners moved my booth leaving everything on the floor, and it got damaged.

Suing them took more than a year, they hired a sleazy lawyer that tried every trick in the book. His name was Jim Donovan, and he lied to the flea market in order to pay himself the retainer he hosed from the flea market, on top of that, he harmed his own client, but once you hire a lawyer, there is no longer direct communication with the flea market, and Jim Donovan kept lying to the flea market in order to drag out the case. (Look for my review under Bovenzi & Donovan. Jim Donovan has the IQ of a pea pod, and aside from that, this case could not be won, so Jim invented a fraudulent counterclaim and told his client that he could win money from me, the tenant, which was not true.

Steven Bouchee is also as dumb as a rock, and believed his lawyer, despite the fact that it was costing him money.

Although I won my case, it was grueling, and horrible to deal with the sleazy owners and their kind.

When anyone wants to go into business, they only dream of making extra money, not enduring a sleazy landlord, someone who would rob them, trick them, take their things, etc. But all of this has happened at this flea market.

They are very abusive, demeaning, and underhanded. I would never have anyone I know put their things inside that marketplace, it's not a trustworthy business and, I know people that have lost everything when they fell behind in rent. The current owner, Steven Bouchee, thinks because he has money, he can get away with even breaking the law.

It's sad to see in hard times, that this place, which I had thought was a perfect fun place to be, was a nightmare from beginning to end, and broke my faith in that type of place, I would never do it again, and try to prevent anyone else from leaving their things inside.
