best Irish Pub in Worcester. Absolutely best Pub in Worcester. Great whiskey selection, and European sports on TV. This is the only place in Worcester COUNTY that will show live 'Football' or Rugby match at 8AM on a Saturday morning. Also, the bartenders can correctly pour a Guinness here. Other Pubs down Water Street will quick-pour you a Guinness about 30 seconds after you order it. Here at The Grey Hound, you will wait two minutes for your Guinness. And Magners Cider on draft ! I can't think of another pub in the Worcester area that has Magners on draft. (maybe O'Connors ?)

If you want to have a conversation at this place, you can actually hear the other person you are talking with. Down Water Street, forget it !

In summary, the Grey Hound Pub is not a "place to be seen by strangers", it's a place to meet new friends.
