Had the most wonderful facial here. I was on a heated bed, in a quiet room. The facial was relaxing, I never felt rushed. Loved the added scalp, shoulder and arm massage. All of my needs were met, I was given full personal attention. I will be back. Chris

Amazing Facials and Positive Eyebrow Waxing Experience. I have been looking for a place to get regular facials and eyebrow waxing done in Framingham for a while and was very glad to have found Tokyo Nails and Beyond. Prior to finding this place, I had to travel to Boston to get the proper facial service with the care and attention that I was looking for. Tokyo and Beyond was very hands on, and made every effort to ensure that each step or procedure they were doing was to my likeness. They also provided me opportunities to customize my needs and was very accomodating in everyway. I definitely get my moneys worth for the amount of time they put into each facial session. I always find myself very relaxed and refreshed from the time I enter the establishment to when I exit. I love the facial service so much that I am making it a monthly thing. In addition to getting the facials during each of my visit, I am also getting eyebrow waxing done as well as getting a pedicure. The eyebrow waxing is very pleasing. I anticipated pain (based on a previous review) but did not feel any pain or encounter any waxing problems at all. I am going to highly recommend Tokyo Nails and Beyond to my friends. The staff is very friendly and personable, please do try their facial service, I think it is the best bargain in town.

burned eyebrow by wax. People please don't go here! I had my eyebrows burned, hot wax and it looks terrible. I am still dealing with it. I wanted to see a dermatologist and i wanted them to pay for this, and they kept saying, their manager was not in! I showed it to them and they said its going to go away!! We will see.

Just avoid this place. I have had my eyebrows waxed at other places and never had this problem.

I think I learned a big lesson here..so learn from my mistake.

heavy pple stay away. I feel that they have a thing against heavey people or that they just are beyond rude. I had to go there on a two occasions because I needed a fill and they were open and my reg place was already filled for the afternoon. I stood there why they all stared at me... like I had two heads or something. I waited for 15 minutes no one even asked if I needed help or why I was there. This happened to me twice. I will never go there again. I love Tammy's nails on rt 9, they are welcoming and friendly. they welcome you, ask what they can help you with, invite you to sit and wait. Not like these people...

This is the best value in town!. Connie and Tim make it unique, special and professional. I moved to Framingham 3 years ago and tried several places (one hurt me so much as they worked on my nails I actually cried and I have been having my nails done for over 10 years!) After several other tries- I went back to TNB and I have been a customer ever since. The work is wonderful and yes occassionally there is a language problem but Tim and Connie are right there to help as professionally as possible. I have been going here every two weeks for over two and 1/2 years and have NEVER seen them be rude to anyone (and some people deserved it!) The Tokyo pedicure is like a high priced salon treatment without the high price!

Never going to another.... I actually went to a nail place down the street from them regularly, however had to get my nails filled before the holiday weekend and they were to busy. Called Tokyo Nails and they said they can see me in an hour. No problem, got some stuff done and went in....and haven't been back to the old place since! The enviornment is so cute, upbeat and with the times. Probably the MOST friendly place I have been to in a long, long time. They asked me my name and then introduced themself. They were really interested in what I wanted and if I was satisfied. I thought it was very nice, I was actually blown away by the positive and friendly vibe there. They even offer you water when you walk in. I would refer them to anyone and will not go anywhere else now, even if they are full, I'll wait!!

Best option in the area. I have been to many other mani/pedi places in the area and Tokyo Nails is the best for the money. Unlike others that I have been to, it is VERY clean and the manis/pedis last longer (in fact, one competitor near by was SO dirty, I almost left in the middle of my mani). Contrary to the other reviews, I made an appointment and when they were late in taking me (only 10 min), they gave me a discount for my patience. The staff doesn't necessarily hug you when you come in, but they are quick, efficient and friendly enough.

Don't forget...you are getting a $12 manicure. You get what you pay for. If you are unhappy, go to a spa and pay $25-$35.

avoid this place. The other 2 reviewers are right. The staff here is rude and uncaring. The place would be good if not for their lack of making a person feel welcome. I was made to feel really aweful for trying to be a walk in client. I will never return.

Great Customer Service. Always pleasant, helpful, and I always leave feeling like I've just gone to a spa. Employees are gracious, and well trained. Manager, Connie, is very professional and always treats everyone with respect. I have recommended this salon to many people, and they all agree, it's a great place. I've never had a bad experience. Manicures and pedicures are very well done and look very professional. I have never had a problem there and will continue to go. Love it!

Fantastic Pedicures. I love this place. Whenever I go, I feel pampered, particularly by the Tokyo Pedicure. All of the staff are well trained and do an excellent job. I go for gel nails and the pedicure. I read the other two reviews on this site and the experiences just don't jibe with mine. I've often eaten while having a pedicure. I really like being able to watch fairly recent movies with subtitles while having my nails done.
