Sketchy and unreliable.
I bought my wedding dress at this store over a year ago, and it has been sitting with her since (I live out of state, but the wedding is in MA). I've had several fittings, but now, 4 days before the wedding, she has yet to do any of the alterations. I was told to come back the DAY BEFORE the wedding. Talk about stress. I've been trying now for 2 days to contact her, and the store has been closed. I'm left worrying if I'm going to get my dress in time for the wedding!
This is not a fancy special little boutique, you can get the same dresses at David's Bridal for much less headache.
Horrible store, horrendous customer service. Save yourself the stress.. Stay away! The previous review sounds like my own story. I ordered my wedding gown 8 months before my wedding. I was told it would be in April 7th. I went in after that time since they had not called me and they told me they lost my paperwork. It took Linda the manager WAY too long to get hold of the dress company and return my call as to where my dress was (I was able to get the dress company on the phone in 2 seconds but they wouldn't help me since I was not a vendor and didn't have a store accct #). SO I was forced to trust Linda when she told me it would be in JULY 5th ( 6 weeks before my wedding- and over 3 months overdue!). She swore up and down it would be in. I trusted her. By July 12th, it was not in. I asked her for a tracking # and she refused. She told me " I don't have time for this!! I have work to do GOODBYE!" and hung up on me. I did not have the time or patience the fight with this horrible excuse for a store manager so I went to another shop and they had my dress overnighted and it was in my hands in less than 48 hours from the time I called them and begged for help. Linda is still refusing to refund my 50% deposit even though my dress missed two delivery dates I was promised. I am surprised they are still in busniess.
Do not buy a dress from this store!!. Do Not buy a gown at this shop! I have had nothing but trouble trying to get my gown. I was promised it would be in on a certain date and every time I called I was told it would be in the week later. The last time I called the phone had been disconnected so my fiance and I drove to the dress shop to see what had happened. The shop had closed and there were no signs saying they had moved. We then went to the police station to see if they knew any information but they did not know what had happened either. Luckily I found out from a friend that they had moved across the street. So my fiance and I went back the next day found the place and confronted the owner. I told her that I was there to pick up my dress that I was promised would be in the week before. She told me that the dress was not in but it should be in next week. We then demanded her to call the dress company to tell us when it would be shipped. She dialed someone and she handed me the phone the person on the other end said she could not help me. I demanded to speak to her manager and she told me I couldn't and she could not help me and hung up the phone. So I handed the phone back to the owner and she then continued a conversation with no one on the line! We then told her that we did not trust her and we wanted the dress that was in the store. She said fine and wrote down that I would exchange that dress when mine came in. The very next day we received a message that the dress had come in. My sister and I went in the next day to pick up the dress. It was not surprising to see a daughter with her mother going through the same problems I had gone through and hearing her famous line it will be in next week. So my suggestion to anyone waiting for a dress from this store confront this owner!! We have put in a complaint with the B B B. We have also found out there have been 17 other complaints filed this year! The last thing you need to worry about on your wedding day is the brides gown!
The store manager is rude and useless - DO NOT SHOP HERE. The manager of this store has no concept of providing any type of service. We ordered a wedding dress, last year and as of today, 7/14/06, we still have not received the dress. She did not follow up on our requests to verify the manufacturer ship date, so when the dress did not arrive by the promised date, which was 4 months late; we were forced to order the dress from another store, who delivered it in the same week. This woman laughed at us, when we were so stressed about not getting the dress on time and she hung up on us when we caught her in a lie. She now refuses to refund our money.
