Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay! Nice clean, large room, with fridge and A/C. The desk clerk was the owner, and very nice and very helpful. I called ahead for reservations, and they couldn't have been nicer. I recommend this motel to anyone travelling in the area. I'm very happy I found them.

Retro and rural

Desk clerk was very helpful and pleasant. Can't beat the price for a motel room in Massachusetts. Room was very clean. The basic room had a small fridge and a microwave, which I didn't expect. That was cool. Place was quiet. Manager is the granddaughter of the original innkeepers. She is very involved in making sure things are going well at the Copper Lantern. Pretty area, lots of pasture land and trees, cute shops. Motel is right by a river and I saw geese and ducks. Some great restaurants nearby.
- Pros: non-smoking rooms, great price, the staff cares
- Cons: no cable TV
