I went to Bello Opticians to replace the arms on a pair of glasses that had broken off. No appointment, no waiting. I was immediately approached and the gentleman that provided the service was professional and geniunely concerned about doing a good job. The price was reasonable and the service was outstanding. Thank you, Bello Opticians.
Bello Opticians is a great family owned business. Nick and his son Anthony and daughter Heidi are hard working and customer oriented. It is not your cookie cutter optician. It gets busy in there and at times there is a lot of activity. However if you want the best quality and modern style glasses, it's the place to go! You will be educated on the best lenses in the industry and you can choose what quality and price you want to pay for your glasses. I selected the higher quality lens and it was well worth it. If you want boring go to a typical optical shop. If you want the best go to Bello!
Nick and his team are top notch! They really know their business. The treat me like a member of the family, whenever I come in for glasses, contacts or to repair something I sat on. They are the best! It's no wonder they have been in business so long. If there's a wait, it's because they are in high demand!

I just got Davis Vision, and learned that my former eye doctor (Shewsbury Eye Care- fantastic people!) would no longer be able to take my insurance. So I found Bello through Davis, and since it was close by, I figured I would go there. After all, how hard can it be to get an annual exam and order contacts??
Apparently, it is very,very, very hard. I went to Bello THREE times in an attempt to get my contact lenses. I still do not have them, and I will not be going back. The 1st time I went, they acted as though they had no knowledge of my appointment and could not seem to comprehend that I needed to attend my (scheduled) exam. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the Dr. was ready for me. The Dr. was awkward, and seemed nervous for some reason. He sat and looked at me blankly after the exam was done until I got up on my own accord and let myself out of the room. Odd.
I had issues with the trial pair, as they gave me the WRONG prescription. They argued with me when I called to tell them that I could not see properly, and stated that I "must be wrong because that is impossible." They also told me that I was having trouble seeing with those contacts because I am getting old. I am 26.
When I went to get my 2nd trial pair, the staff took my glasses off of my face and walked away with them without warning me or telling me why. They handed me the trial pair at the front desk and said "here, put these in," in the middle of the waiting room. I asked if I could wash my hands, and perhaps have access to a mirror. They seemed annoyed and pointed me towards the bathroom. There was no soap, nor any paper towels in the bathroom. This was a MAJOR concern to me. NASTY.
Each time I had to call or go there, the staff were disorganized and it took several minutes for them to locate my information. They were unprofessional, and told me that I would have to be patient with them because they didn't "want to half ass anything." Which is ironic, because this whole place seems pretty "half ass" to me.
My recommendation: Don't waste your time. I have no waited 1 &1/2 months for contacts that I am not getting through Bello. I am taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same.
great doctor, terrible staff. I have been to Bello Opticians several times. The doctor is always nice and pleasant but the staff is unprofessional. They argue amongst themselves in front of their clients, they dodge your phone calls and in this last instance, they didn't even fax my order until a month and a half later. Now I have to wait another month. I won't be going back.
Service. Dr. Giovannucci is great. However the service at the opticians needs improvement. The wait is usually a hour and rushed. But I must say they are very good when you get service. I just think they need more staff and need to be better organized.
amateurs trying to be opticians. Doctor Giovannucci is always willing to help. However, the staff sometimes get very frustrated when customers inquire about the insurance benefits. Their attitudes are unprofessional and they need to adjust their tones when dealing with clients. This place has a bunch of amateurs who are very uninformed about the business. How they stay open for so long is a mystery to me. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was dissatisfied by the smokey environment.
Bello opticians. great experience! Wonderful doctor!!! Very knowledgeable and caring. Teeming with activity. Lots of local people who seem loyal to the business. Great selection of frames and lots of help from the staff. Two thumbs up!!!

Zeiss Lenses ARE superior!. Nick Bello explained to me why Zeiss makes a superior progressive lens, but I knew my lenses were an improvement already. I could see so much better! If you have a high power prescription like mine and have been disappointed with your progressive lenses, try a pair made by Zeiss. The improvement in peripheral vision is significant and the "sweet spot" feels much larger. Yes, they are expensive, but Zeiss is worth it. After all, it's your vision, right?
