22yrs of great service. Have been going to Bello's since I was 2yrs old. They have always been good to me and my family. They know my name and always acknowledge me when I come in. I have Davis and never had a problem with them. Hedi always reminds me when it's time to get new glasses or to have an eye appointment. The entire staff is great and the atmosphere is comfortable. I will continue to go here as long as I need to and tell everyone I know to as well.

Bello Opticians. I have been going to Bello's for six years now and have never had a problem. Everyone in there is always very friendly. Nick the owner has been helping me with my last pair of glasses, there was nothing wrong with them but I wasn't completely happy with them and he went out of his way to make sure I was happy even if it meant getting an entirely different pair of glasses. As long as I live in worcester I will continue to go to Bello opticians. If you are new to the area or just looking for a new place to purchase contacts and lenses you should definitely try bello's. Also the optician Dr. G is great and very personable.

The best -I've never seen so clearly. The optical expertise here is unsurpassed. I've been wearing glasses since first grade - so for the last 37 years. When I first got glasses through Bello Opticians nearly 14 years ago, I was amazed at how much better my vision was than ever before. They have continued to provide a high level of service and professionalism to members of my family since then (six of us need serious vision correction.) Thank you ,Nick and company, for all the wonderful years of excellent service and extraordinarily kind attention.

Shady. Overpriced. Dr.G is great but the staff is shady. If you have Davis vision make sure they actually use your benfits.. they made me pay and didn't even submit the claim. I ended up paying the full price for everything. Their contact lenses are also very pricy. Don't go hear if you have Davis vision. pick some other place.

Negligent. My recent experience with Nick Bello was very disappointing. A reviewer mentioned his proficiency in "fitting" glasses: apparently that is what his license or degree is in, because he seems not to know a thing about lenses. Not only were the frames I chose for progressive bifocal lenses not large enough to accommodate them (THEY were supposed to know this, not the customer), the peripheral 'vision' was blurry and of course shouldn't have been. I've been in touch with the appropriate authorities in an attempt to get a refund.

poor service. I went there a few months ago- i really liked the optometrist Dr. G- he was great and knowledgable. I can't say the same about the staff or the owner. They were rude and the place had a wierd smell like moldy

Meticulous Craftsmanship, Perfectly Comfortable Fit. My wife has been going to Nick for over 20 years and when we got married, she turned me on to the BEST optician I've ever dealt with. His forte is fit, you wear your glasses all the time, they must be comfortable and effective; no one is better at this than Nick. We walk in any time and he happily cleans and adjusts our glasses, his service is unparalleled. He's also got a great eye for style, it's come to the point were we just say, "what should we get?" and he helps select frames that look good on our faces and are within our budget. He's flexible. I brought in a pair of sunglasses that I bought in Italy and he made lenses for them with my new prescription. My wife wears one contact lens, he made a pair of glasses with only one correcting lens that she can wear for driving.

Bello Opticians is one of the best service companies we deal with. We like our plumber, we like our realtor, we like our mechanic, but we love Nick.

Worth the trip for a Boston man.. First, let me say I have no idea what the other person is saying about a cigarette smoke filled building. I'm nearly 100% sure that smoking in a place like that violates Massachusetts law, so, ignore that guy below.

Five years ago I had gotten my frames from Bello's after I graduated high school. Now living in Boston and attending my final year in college, I thought it was time for a style update. I checked out several optometrists in the Boston area, and found prices to be average around $350 to $400 for the frames style I was interested in. I was surprised, as I remembered Bello's being a whole lot cheaper. I called them up, made an appointment, took the commuter Rail to Worcester, and got my eyes tested and picked out a great pair of frames for only $200. For me, FAR worth the trip. To boot, they also gave my old pair an intense power-cleaning while I was there. They looked like new!

Their selection of frames isn't the largest. But you WILL find yourself wandering around from wall to wall looking at all the different kinds they have. Once you start looking intently, the choices seem to multiply.

I had the employees there help me narrow my frame choices down to three, then I chose which one I liked the best of the three. It was a very nice, helpful atmosphere! Lots of bamboo :)

I'm giving it a healthy 4/5 stars because 1) Could use a slightly larger selection of frames, 2) I haven't been to many other optometrists to truly recognize Bello's as outstanding from the rest.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!. I have never seen Nick smoking either. i think that other reviewer was "smokin'" something of his own!

I have had issues with contact lens but that was the manufacturers problem not Bello's.

They were MORE than accomodating to me in replacing them.

I have also gotten eyeglasses from there that I love and get compliments on all the time!

I have had adjustments for free many many times in the 10 years I have been going to Bello's.

I would tell ANYONE to go see for themselves! The place is always busy and the phones always ringing so can all of us customers be wrong?? I don't think so!

I love Dr. G too! He is compassionate and really knows his stuff!
