In Short – The Terminator and the Incredible Hulk (aka Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno) lifted weights at the gym's Venice, California, flagship years ago, but even today, customers frequenting charter locations are bound to encounter serious muscle. Take note: The boys with bulging biceps are the mascots, not the majority. Gold's generally offers Spinning, aerobics and kickboxing classes, yet weight-training remains the core of the program. Dumbbells and barbells, not spa-like amenities, are the attractions that draw the beef-heads in droves.
are there ANY decent gyms in Worc? - NOT GOLDS

ZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Despite the change in owners, this gym is sub par. Good equipment removed; wasteful equipment brought in (hoist; extra cardio that noone uses). The personal trainers do more working out than training (and don't get in their way). When equipment breaks it stays that way. The place is always a mess: weights not racked, benches all over the place. Way overpriced for what you get.
- Pros: air conditioning;expresso bikes
- Cons: lousy group ex schedule; good equipment removed
Overpriced and too small
by Dave245643
You will actually need to move giant pieces of equipment on occasion to get to the piece you need because they doubled the inventory of cardio equipment and shoved all the weight training equipement into a smaller area. I've never seen even half the cardio equipment in use, so no idea why they did this. The place went down hill last year with the change in management. Also, it seems the guys that run the place are always working out, monopolizing the machines. It's more than 3 times the cost of the larger World Gym down the street.
- Pros: Decent selection of equipment
- Cons: Too much equipment crammed in, over priced
