Best Upscale Seafood in town. I only get the chance to go to the Sole on special occasions - between my paychecks and this economy, it is a tad pricey = ) But well worth it!

The Sole has some of the best seafood dishes around. I crave their sushi - it's hard to find in the area. Never had a poor dining experience - there's a reason the parking lot is jam packed night after night.

Best part is - you can make reservations whenever!

The Sole is one of three unbelievable restaurants by the same owner in Worcester. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite restaurants ever!. I just LOVE this place! I can't believe some of the mixed reviews because I've been here a bunch of times and I know tons of people who frequent this place. My favorite thing to do when I go here is order a bunch of things off of the appetizer menu and share. The sushi is SOOOO amazing- very fresh and a few really unique rolls that are super tasty. Perfect for a date night or even a fun night out w/ friends! Such great seafood.

HUGE disappointment. What used to my favorite restaurant all-around, has become quite a huge disappointment. My last visit (02.01.08) was a fairly large party for a birthday celebration. First, we were told that the restaurant will not accept reservations on a Friday evening for a party of 11 unless we could come in for 5:30 P.M. or after 8:30 P.M. We opted for the early time. Next, only half of our table was asked if they wanted appetizers. Upon receiving our meals, several were returned because the fish had been overcooked and was extremely dry. Fixing this matter consisted of placing completely new orders and the chef (or manager) bringing out the new dishes.

Prior to this visit, my husband and I went out about a month or two earlier for a quiet dinner. My husband's fish order was undercooked almost to the point of being raw. My order of crab cakes were also undercooked.

When you are paying for good food, you expect the same in return. I will not rush back to the Sole for dinner any time soon.

Horrible Food. We went to the sole for a night out my husband and I and regret it. It was so pack and noisy you couldn't hear each other when speaking. And when we got our food it was disgusting. The food was bland and didn't have much flavor and this was a staff reccommended dish. Also the shrimp was so over cooked it took forever to chew and swallow it. It had a tough rubber like texture. The salad was good though and the waitstaff was really nice. We should have left after the salad.

Great Sushi, High Class Environment, Superb Ambience, Fast Service. Welcome to flavor! This restaurant has amazing food and amazing prices. If you like Steamed Clams, look no further. For a mere $13 dollars, you get a very large portion, as it is listed as an appetizer. They have a Sushi Chef which whips up your favorite Raw fish. You will usually get 2 waitors or waitresses. Both of which will make your stay very pleasant. The food is always fast to come and fast to go from your plate! I highly recommend the Sole if your in the mood for an amazing seafood dish or just some sushi!

Terrible experience. We went for a family birthday party (all adults). Although we made the reservation well in advance, they were totally unprepared for us. They stuffed us into a very small room where we could hardly move, Service was incredibly slow, some entrees were served cold, and some members of our party never even received the vegetable that was supposed to come with their dinners. Needless to say, we won't be back!

Named among top 10 seafood restaurants in the U.S.. The Sole's motto is "Freshness Cut to Order," which is a motto to live by for a seafood restaurant. The restuarant's near-fanaticism for freshness pays off with meals like tuna Barcelona, a favorite of mine. Also try the firecracker sushi, which combines cooked lobster, sweet potatoes and who knows what else into sushi that's so good that even a diner who doesn't usually like sushi will enjoy it.

The Sole has won many awards, including being named among the top 10 seafood restaurants in the country. It is a perennial favorite of locals and also has a spectacular wine list.

Don't go. The service was not very good.....The food was also very disapointing. My boyfriend got broiled haddock, which looked good, was decent priced, but was COLD, and the mashed potatoes tasted like junk (how you mess those up I don't know). I got the seafood sufle, which consisted of 3 scollops, 3 shrimp and half a lobster claw...for 24$ I thought that was pretty steep, not to mention I don't think they rinsed the seafood off because the whole dish tasted like salt water and I barely touched it! We didn't send it back because we were in a rush trying to make a concert, but the waitress didn't even notice that my meal was barely touched and didn't even ask how it was.....I won't be going there and I probably won't try their other property the 111 Chop house either!

Best Seafood in Central MA. The Sole is consitantly great. Since we don't have a Legal Seafood in Worcester anymore, the Sole fills in more than adequately. Every summer, they have a crab festival not to be missed; the crab and corn chowder and crab cocktail are particular standouts. Speaking of cocktail, anything here that comes with cocktail sauce is an automatic winner, since the house-made sauce is a tangy, lemony, fresh-grated-horseradish-laden winner. The fish is always fresh, the desserts are delicious beyond words, and the bar has one of the best selections of trendy booze-drinks in the city. In the past few years, they have even added sushi to the menu, and after a slow start it has progressed to the point where I can recommend it without reservation. Try the firecracker roll; YOU CANNOT RESIST!
