We love it. Since first trying out Ken's a few months ago (well except when I was a kid 35 years ago) we have been making it a point to go back once a week. We love the atmosphere - the food has been great and its affordable. The bar area has plenty of TVs so we can watch our sports while we have a drink and dine on seafood stuffed mushrooms. We had my parents accompany us recently and everything was great....no complaints about the prime rib or tenderloin, or the seafood casserole. In all very pleasant and relaxing.

Disappointed. After hearing about this place on the radio for months, we decided to drive the half hour and check it out. We went on a Wednesday night around 7:30 - a bonus for me as they have a prime rib special on Wednesday's. We were seated and promptly greeted and given drinks. We were then ignored for 10 minutes before placing our order. I ordered the prime rib, medium, he the Delmonico steak medium rare. Our app was ok, hard to screw up potato skins. Our salads came- the house salad was a bowl of oversized iceberg lettuce strips , two small onion rings and about a third of a tomato that I cut into 6 pieces. Other tables were offered fresh cracked pepper, ours, not so much. We finally broke down and asked for bread which our server neglected to offer. The meals arrived... Mine was more medium rate, but all in all, ok. The steak on the other hand was medium on its way to med well. More concerning, not a drop of juice dropped out of the steak. 10 minutes later, our server checked back, the steak was sent back. 5 minutes later a new steak arrived. It looked great from the outside but one cut and it was clearly char-rare. We sent it back again and declined any further attempts at feeding him. In all, my biggest issues were: poor ambiance. There were bright lights shining down on the table from the ornamental lights... The lights should have been dimmed for a white table cloth place. The service was slow and inconsistent from table to table. The veg choices were carrots or butternut squash... That's a lot of orange. The steaks were just off. Something I'd expect from Denny's, not a "steak house". I'm not sure how you get meat that DRY. My only thought is that they were fired off ahead of time and reheated to order. The best thing we had was the cornbread, and that's just not enough to justify ever returning.

never disappointed. my family has been going to Ken's for years. I try to go there 3 or 4 times a month. I have ordered almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. I would recommend anyone to give it a try. yes, the salad is simple, that's what makes it so nice. and when you go, get the house dressing, it's better than the one they sell in the bottle. the clam chowder is great, so is the french onion soup. speaking of onion, order the onion rings, they are hand made. the steaks, the lamb chops, and the prime rib are all good. the baked stuffed shrimp is delicious. also, the baked scrod has always been good. make sure you leave room for dessert....try the apple pie with ice-cream, or there famous cheese cake.

Always been one of my favorite places. Ken's has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I went there a month ago with my mother and sister and had a terrific meal. They both had steak, and I had the schrod. Terrific! Our family has been going there for years. My mom and dad went there many, many years ago for an Anniversary back in the

50's. It brings back a lot of memories when we go. They use to have a terrific piano bar there back in the

middle 70's. Keep up the good work!

Avoid going, want steak or great food go to the OUTBACK they are very promising!. My husband and I had come to Ken's steakhouse restaurant last night 10-22-08 after 7:30pm. I was very impressed with your establishment and the employees but that really all I have good to say about our visit.

Sadly, I must agree with all the bad complaints I have heard online. For one reason or another I was under the impression Kens was some revered MA establishment. Our very thinly cut prime rib was hints of beef among copious amounts of fat and gristle, the salad very disappointingly plain, We were very shocked at the dish we received and the very thinly sliced prime rib. We both tried to fill up on bread and even asked for more bread just to receive corn bread, Needless to say we left very hungry and very disappointed and dissatisfied. We will deffenitly not return to your restaurant nor recommand it to anyone.

Just to also note the couple sitting next to us did complain and send their food back and again they had a different type of steak and it to had nothing but fat and gristle, they were brought a new steak with very little fat. I guess I should of complained to, to get what I ordered..

Any how, many people compair your establishment to The Hill Top this is very mediocre to bad, but frankly I think The Hill Top's prime rib is well sized and thick and you get a lot of food I have never left the Hill Top still hungry or wanting more food.

Almost 2 years now people have been writing bad reviews maybe They should try to change some of the problems to better their establishment.
