Wasabe demonstrates a focus on Japanese cooking and serves very nice dishes. Not only is the presentation attractive, the food is quite good. Menu items include chicken and seafood teriyaki, shrimp tempura, and a variety of sushi and sashimi.

The place looks sketchy from the outside and that should have been a clue not to go in. The menu is extremely limited. We ordered gyoza to start and then a bunch of sushi. Despite the fact there were 4 other people in the restaurant we waited FOREVER for our food. The gyoza were fine, but the sushi was just awful - probably the worst I've ever had. The eel was slimy and very fishy tasting. The spicy tuna roll was just tuna with TONS of chili sauce - terrible. Not worth the trip or the price!!!

Although I am Japanese, I am not the biggest fan of sushi, but this place's sushi is AMAZING. The sushi rice is made perfect, and I have never had fish so fresh and cut so well than any other place (including some in Japan!). Plus the other dishes are also so good- tonkatsu to die for! The size of the place is really nice, and I like admiring the chefs at their work!
