Wonderful care for your furry friends!. I have been a client of The Family Pet Hospital for more than 15 years. Dr. Valas and her entire office staff are knowlegable and compassionate, all true animal lovers. I first went there with my puppy in 1979 and with their great care and wonderful advice, I was able to have almost 15 happy, healthy years with my Lab, and at the end of her journey, everyone in the office was so supportive, and even cried with us when we said "good-bye" to her. Now I am taking my new crazy Lab puppy there and getting the same wonderful care and advice as before :) I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my pet care.…

FABULOUS Animal Hospital!. I have had dogs and cats for over 50 years, and even worked in an animal hospital for 5 years. I wish I had known The Family Pet years earlier, for I have experienced nothing but superb and genuine care. The word "Family" is perfect to describe the amazing care they share. Not only just for your pets, but yourself as well. Dr. Valas amazes me on how quickly she can find the underlying cause of the cause of an illness, and knows exactly what to do to remedy. Some times there is no cure, but allows your pet and you savor the last moments with true compassion. Her staff is equally as genuine and compassionate sharing outstanding service with a smile. Some of the above and beyond services are 24/7 emergency and the use of laser for surgery and other procedures, which allows far less trauma, bleeding and faster recovery. There are larger facilities with more staff, but my experience has not been as intimate or as genuine in care as you receive at The Family Pet Hospital!…

Ashland Family Pet Hospital Is The Best!. The Dr's and staff at Family Pet Hospital were by our side through illnesses, and passing of our precious girls. Dr Valas and her team have so much compassion, not only For pet/children, but for their families as well! When we adopted our two boys, we knew The Family Pet Hospital would be the place to care for them :-) We can't imagine bringing our fuzzy friends any where else!

Fantastic, Skilled & Caring Staff. We have been taking our pets to Family Pet Hospital for 11 years now and can't say strongly enough how great they are. We had 2 cats that lived long & healthy lives thanks to this hospital. When we had to make the terrible decision to put a cat to sleep, Dr. Valas & staff could not have been more helpful and kind. We're now on our second generation of pets, and they will definitely continue to be patients of Family Pet!…
