Spa treatment. I love the owner. She is very personable and seems to really care about meeting her clients needs and expectations. I have only stopped going there because this is the only spa that I have ever been to, that doesn't provide some form of appointment reminder. For me, it is very easy to lose track of an appointment that was booked 6 weeks in advance. The fact that there is no process for reminding clients of their upcoming appointments is an undesirable shortcoming for me. I suggested it to the receptionist and rather than treating it as an idea worth considering, she just told me that people just need to be more responsible. Oh well, I tried...
Really.. Who do they think they are.. I found the place through Groupon... I've made all my appointments and I missed my first one. Totally my fault I understand.. here's where it gets good. They want me to pay the value of my Groupon as a fee... WHAT!!! $189 for a missed appointment. Your telling me your 20 minutes is worth a $189. If that's the case we should all get into the business why am I wasting my time doing anything else. This is why they are one of the spas that don't call you to confirm appointments. Why would they call if they can make hundreds of dollars a day in fees (My M.D. charges $25 and she went to Medical school). Their too busy to call and remind she said. Meanwhile the last two times I was there the staff talked for at least twenty minutes about some dog... but I guess your too busy. Business's that use Groupon's beware.. They use them to create business because they can't keep clients. If you have a business that is fair, honest, and professional you don't need Groupon. I agree with how they treat people the staff stay at the front talking about their personal lives, you can hear right through the doors (no sound proofing), the laser lady is pretty "as a matter of fact" (I believe she's the owner not sure), and the ones that say it's affordable God bless them because they must be the only patrons not buying their Groupons. All I can say is there are hundreds of Spas in the area.. Good bye Laserderm you and your staff are nuts to think that $189 is justifiable.
Discrimination in the 21st century. This was the wort customer service experience I've ever had. I found out about this place through groupons. I read Isolaz was one of the best treatments for acne out there right now. The owner Donna Bayrouty took care of me. She made very rude comments about my forehead being so big and boney and she has never seen anything like it before. Also, she said that because of "my background" I had such a oily skin. She said I had awful skin with big pores, and dry and stretched but clothed at the same time. She asked if I bought my facial creams at CVS? Why because I am latin? Latin people can only buy their creams at CVS? She commented -You must have had a lot of acne when you were a child! Obviously I did! That's why I was there? There is not a possible rating to categorize this place. So unprofessional and discriminating!! I am going for the same treatment to Boston Cosmetic Medical Center. It is better customer service!!
Most painful experience. I should have come here and read the reviews before I bought the groupon. I can not agree more with one of the negative reviews. Extraction: So painful. I have to hold my breath each time she squeezes. Can feel the pain through my body. Exfoliation and mask: She never told me what ingredients are in there. It made my face stingy and red all over. When I asked her if my face was red. She looked surprised and said maybe my face did not like the ingredient. Did she know what she was doing? She could see and she could at least have warned me about the reaction! Worst facial experience ever!

I was referred to this spa by several close friends and family members that are loyal customers and I was not disappointed when I checked it out!
I had a great mani/Pedi by Gina; she was very thorough, easy to talk to and my manicure lasted much longer than any other manicure I have gotten in the past! I could tell that it was very sanitary and the products she used were quality! I loved the decor of the spa and cannot wait to try some of the other services offered!

Quite mystified by the stellar reviews online! Went here for a facial, via the Groupon promotion. The interior is designed very nicely, but the ambiance was anything but spa-like. While waiting for my esthetician to finish answering phone calls, I could hear (actually could not hear anything But) the nail technician on the phone, speaking loudly and at great length, and eventually finishing up with a swear word! Not the serene spa feeling one expects.
My facial started with the esthetician ( sorry cannot remember name) asking questions about my skin care, which is commendable, but she had a confrontational attitude which wasn't nice. I got the feeling that if anything unsatisfactory happened here to a customer, that customer would definitely not be right!
Could also hear the Doctor on the phone, sounded like right outside my treatment room door, the staff need to learn indoor voices!
During the facial the esthetician did some extractions - and I have never experienced such pain, I was most alarmed but decided I must trust that she knows what she's doing.
On finally escaping and returning home, I saw the esthetician had broken my skin in quite a few places, yes she was trying to be thorough but breaking the skin is not acceptable. I now also have a zit underneath the skin which is indicative of a halfway done extraction.
In conclusion this is a most scary place, there are so many spas you don't need to subject yourself to this one!

Love Laserderm!. I love my Tuesday appointments at Laserderm! I have known Donna Bayrouty for over 30 years. She made my "unibrow" into 2 gorgeous looking eyebrows 30 years ago and haven't had to have any touch-ups in between! She is now doing my upper lip. She is painless and professional and I would recommend her unconditionally. Gina, my manicurist, has been doing my nails for 15 years now and I recommend her all the time! She gives the best manicures and she is very "gentle" with me when it comes to pedicures because I am very ticklish! The spa is gorgeous, relaxing, and fun!! Enjoy!!! I do!
Fabulous Experience. I've been a client of Gina, nail technician, for years. When she moved, it was an extra treat to have additional services available. I've had a facial with Jamie, and have another one scheduled soon. Just had my first massage with Nancy and it was marvelous. She's gentle yet sensitive to what you like to have worked on for stress and relaxation. I'll be a loyal member of the clientele forever and ever. Thanks to Donna, Gina, Jamie and Nancy for wonderful treatment and a caring environment.
My most favorite place!. I have been with the owner for many years. She is warm and welcoming. I started with electrolysis and moved on to laser hair removal. I tell everyone this, laser hair removal is seriously the best money I have ever spent on myself. I haven't shaved my underarms for over a year! I also did my bikini area and it is nothing short of a miracle. I only wish they had this when i was younger and actually wore a bikini! I love the results and to top it off, Laserderm is a beautiful clean newly renovated spa with the nicest staff around. It's a dream come true to me in so many ways.
