Travis was so nice but we were never told about the $75 trip charge. We feel that should have been explained to us before Travis came out.

fast and efficient service. My air conditioning unit went out on one of the hottest days of the summer. I have 2 small children so getting this fixed was crucial! The guys at MCP came out fast and had it working within the hour. I'm so thankful they made it out quickly and worked efficiently. Thanks again guys!

Excellent Service. They came right away and stayed all day to fix the problem and when the problem proved to be worse than it looked on the surface, they came back promptly to fix it. Excellent service for a good price.

Excellent work, will use again!. They were quick to respond, professional and was very informative. He educated me as to how I could perform the maintenance myself in the future.

Worst Experience Ever. I don't normally do this but after the experience I had I find it necessary to warm my fellow homeowners.

Stay away and call someone else!!

I called this firm to repair issues with my furnaces after the last storm. After they arrived and assessed the situation I was informed that a relay needed to be replaced on both furnaces and one furnace required a new Auto-fill and low water cutoff. The former thy could replace immediately and the former they would need to confirm the price.

After replacing the relays I was informed the cost would be $750. As one furnace was operational and the other partial working I paid the fee just glad that my tenant and I had heat. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the relay described and documented were less then 20 dollar parts and additional components have been replaced. (Pending itemized documentation for the insurance company). After receiving a call from MCP regarding the additional repair estimate of 900 dollars I decided to get a second opinion. Good thing I did the final repairs (low water cutoff and auto-fill repair) came to 450 dollars and I confirmed there operation.

When MCP returned as there install prime controller wasn't receiving a call from my thermostat. I was first informed that the replaced component hadn't been replaced and they were bypassed. As I started the heat upon my return home and verified they were functioning when I arrived home in the afternoon, imagine my surprise they were no longer working and the wiring had changed.

The MCP tech was unable to communicate why the control head wasn't responding correctly to thermostat to a 10 yr veteran. Although he did inform me that the entire thing need to be rewired and he would be more then happy to fix it for a fee.

I wish I had found this site prior to calling. Lessons learned I guess.

Don't use on the Cape!. While the plumber was nice and seemed knowledgeable (time will tell if he was), what a nightmare this turned into. He was from the Cape himself, but didn't know where to get parts in my area. Disappeared for 2 hours for parts, despite my telling him of the home center 1 mi from my house. Messed up what he was doing - he apologized a lot. I tried to push him along late aftn. He didn't finish until 7pm. A decent plumber would've spent less than half that time on this project. Took a month to get an itemization of charges from office (plumber wouldn't give me when he was writing up receipt). Company is charging me $1,000, which they say is a discount. Work done: replace toilet tank parts (I had bought the same DIY kit for $11 at Lowes but was reluctant to do myself); caulk (tube=$6) 2 items in bathroom (those 2 tasks took less than 1 hr); supply trip=2hrs; add mixing valve ($120) to existing outdoor shower. I understand that other parts were used and that copper is expensive. I have no problem paying for those, and did. I'm contesting the unreasonable amount of time that was spent (a total of 8 hrs), much of which was the plumber trying to work around his mistakes. I paid 3/4 of the bill, but they have the nerve to threaten me with legal action if I don't pay the rest. I'm in consultation with legal experts and are reporting MCP accordingly. Unfortunately, I relied on the reviews on ServiceMagic and didn't see the CitySearch ones, which were comparable to my experience, until the next day.

once a crook always a crook. This guy closed his prior business 2 years ago then reopened this one under the new name; he hasn't a clue what he's doing. Screwed up my kitchen pipes using the 3 stooges for workers and left me with 3 leaking pipes and a 2000 dollar credit card bill, telling me 3 days later he'd closed his business and couldn't do anything for me but would "fix" the problems. He never came back. Cost me another 500 to have someone else fix his "work." He is a crook plain and simple.
