A true fix-it-upper hotel.
It's hard to know where to start with this train wreck of a hotel, which has clearly seen better days. Comforters with cigarette burns. Elevators with fans that don't work and with graffiti etched into the paint. Hotel signs on the street that don't light up. Missing tile in bathrooms. Mildew on the shower curtain. Inattentive front desk clerks who ignore guests for minutes while they finish personal telephone calls. We can understand that hotels get wear and tear, but at this place it seems like the failure to do maintenance has become institutionalized and has rubbed off on the checked-out staff.
Also missing are nice services like a shuttle bus or even proximity to shopping and dining (the Res Inn is in the middle of a large office park). You'd be better off going a few miles down the road to the Courtyard by Marriott or the Crowne Plaza in Natick.
