In Short
A favorite of Brazilian expats and budget-minded students, Café Belo enables its customers to select hot and cold items from a buffet and then pay a flat rate of $5.49 per pound. Most buffet items change daily, though freshly barbecued meats are a constant. Popular items include rice with cod fish, fried yucca and sautéed squash.

A bustling, cheerful hole in the wall restaurant where you get to meet local Brazilians in "Little Brazil" (Framingham). The food is delicious and perfect for you Atkins Diet freaks (i.e., meat galore) .... on top of that, it's cheap here! You pay your food by the pound. You are busting a gut for a 5 dollar plate. There's also a side items buffet of mostly potatoes, rice, salad and curious dishes where you help yourself. Then you can choose your meats from carefully grilled skewers. Wonderful place overall!
- Pros: Cheap eats, Succulent meats, Local Atmosphere
- Cons: Can be crowded, Not very private
